The L’Etete Church of Christ, also known as the Christian Church, was established in 1863. We believe in one God - God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit.
God the Father: Almighty Creator of all things, visible and invisible.
Jesus Christ: The Son of God, the One and only Saviour.
Holy Spirit: Indwells in every Christian, empowering us to live fruitful lives obedient to God.
We believe that the Bible, God’s inspired Word, is the absolute truth and our final authority for all matters of faith, truth, morality and christian living.
We believe that salvation, the forgiveness of sin, is only by grace through the blood of Christ and received by obeying those conditions found in scripture; faith in Christ, repentance of sin, confessing Christ as Lord and Saviour and being baptized by immersion.
We believe that having received salvation we are to honour our Saviour through our daily living and by proclaiming the gospel message.
